"High School life is the best." I will never forget my teacher saying this one. She even told us that if ever we reach College, we will surely say she's correct. College life is more serious and every different subject you have, you also gain different classmates so there's no way you could have a close friend. She even said the words no one would ever love to hear: "It's hard." No one would engage into something hard unless it's the only way to get you out of poverty. Of course, our parents would always say that education is the only treasure we can inherit out from them. True, I would say. Education is important or should I say "College" is important.Well, so much for this one. What I would really want to share with you is how did I adjust from the "hardships" of College. Hmmm, how did I?
College life is like dragging myself to death. You might say it's exaggerating but it's true and I'm only telling you how I feel. I feel tired. There's a lot of homework and projects to do and you have to submit it on time. Well, high school's stuffs should also be given on due dates but you can still ask the instructors to give them at a later time. During your secondary part of life, you still get the chance to enjoy, recreate and have a lot of time to relax. Well, you can still get to enjoy and recreate in College but relax, I think you're only given less time for it. Stressful, I would say. You're so pre-occupied with a lot of things because somethings are keeping yourself to be busy. You're always running, wishing the time would stop to an end so that you can have the time to unwind but that would never happen. Time would never stop and College would remain as it is. Hard and less time to have relaxation. But all things I can set aside because of something that keeps me going. "Determination."
"Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try." This is taken from the website http://thinkexist.com/quotations/determination/. Each time I must do some requirements, I only think that I learn something out from it and it's for my own good. If I keep on thinking I'm tired then definitely I feel the same way at the end of the day. My mind affects the way I respond to some activities at school. If my mind would say I can't do it, then I turn out unsuccessful. Famous Christian writer Joel Osteen even said "don't live in mediocrity." Every thing starts with a reason and hardships are a way to keep you in the right track and for you to bend and go on with the flow of the wind. It's one way to give you the strength to handle all curdles.
Each time I go to School, I must leave other unnecessary problems at home. Problems should be left behind because how can I focus on much more important things If I don't set myself positively? Others even doesn't know that I'm laughing on the outside but crying on the inside. I want to do things which I must keep reminding myself that I can handle everything. "Success is never fatal and failure, never fatal its courage that counts." This is my favorite quote and I found it from a calendar. Everything aren't constant in this world. It's only change that's constant. A way to change our self into a person of courage and self-determination. How I manage to adjust myself from the hardships of College life is through the determination that I must acquire to become a productive student of excellence and global competence from the School who taught me how to be: Foundation University.
